The station would reject 24fps material because it isn’t immediately ready for over-the-air transmission. If the source is 24fps, but the target is 30fps (60 interlaced) for broadcast on an NTSC television station, then changing the frame rate is a way to play the source video on a broadcast playout server. ![]() If the source is 60fps, then exporting at 60fps is natural.
